Week of August 28, 2012

The last of the summer is upon us. School starts for many next week, and the last vestiges of summer are apparent- acorns dropping from trees, leaves starting to color up.

For those of you who have wondered what happened to posting on the blog… I ran into a bees nest, and ended up in the hospital. The toxin amount, and resulting drugs that needed to be used, have been a challenge to deal with. Hopefully things will be better soon! The next few days we will try to catch up on fabric news, incoming fabrics, and etc… Needing to start somewhere, and not quite certain where… the latest news will come first!

JUST LISTED:

RED HORSE RIDDING TOILE FABRIC

A vintage look for a new horse riding fabric. This has a trellis of leaves with four different scenes… one with two men talking very earnestly as horses are ridden past them! The background color is a dry, matt cranberry tone that in some lights appears to have a salmon undertone to it, and in others it moves to a cherry undertone…
