We have a new aqua turquoise blue rug fabric.
It is unique and lovely!
This upholstery fabric has the look of a traditional Tree of Life rug pattern. A large central motif is surrounded by stylized fruit and flowers. It has been printed to have the distressed look of a vintage rug, but the colors are definitely not traditional rug colors!
And it is the colors that set this apart. A melange of aqua, turquoise , and blue make up the background, with citrus greens, grey, white, and a pink-purple tone being used for the different flowers, fruits, and leaves.
This joins the three other rug fabrics that we have in this fabric.
There is the bright and bold
orange vintage rug fabric.
This has a bold tonal orange background, with a hickory brown central motif, with colors of golden green, grey, blue, and cream.
In total juxtaposition is the softly color apricot rug fabric.
This has pastel tones of apricot, peach, and salmon, with browns, silver, and cream.
The fourth colorway is again, totally different! It has the same distressed look of a vintage rug. But, this has colors suitable for those decorating in Victorian tones.
Rich tones of maroon and pink are highlighted by peach, soft blue, and green with a background of tonal greys and taupe.
These rug patterns have been printed on a heavy upholstery fabric that is, in and of itself, unique. It developed , but the company, was at a loss as to how to term it. While it does have a pile it is not really like any one thing! I suggested that it was a cross between a chenille fabric and a velvet, and that is how they have chosen to term it.
This fabric contributes to the look of the design, as it gives depth to the pattern and to the colors used. Depending on the light the colors will be lighter or darker, adding to the interest of it.
