This week has been all about blue chicken toile fabrics!
Blue rooster chicken fabrics have been the fabrics of the week!
And, the bantam rooster fabric has been the favorite!
This has large turquoise roosters and chickens,
intermixed with eggs, feathers, and writing.
The background is a natural linen tone.
This fabric has been discontinued.
And, like all fabrics that get in short supply,
we tend to have several smaller pieces.
We always list the piece with the largest length of fabric.
Which means, there is often more than is listed.
The second most popular rooster fabric this week was the
blue French chicken toile fabric.
This has also been discontinued.
This has a traditional French pattern,
with a rooster standing guard over his hen and chicks.
This is a bold and vibrant blue.
Only the French would use this color!
P.Kaufmann’s Rooster Strut in the color farmhouse,
is another blue chicken rooster toile fabric.
And, it was also popular this week.
For those that want a farmhouse country look,
this is perfect with it’s chicken wire accents among vignettes with
roosters, hens, and, in my opinion, the cutest chicks!
Colors are painterly, with the background toile,
having a washed look.
While this has been discontinued, we do have plenty of yardage.
When it was discontinued, we bought a large amount of it.
But, when it is gone, it will be gone.
A few years ago a kitchen was done with this,
and a complimentary blue check was used for the accent.
The gingham or buffalo check in sky blue
is perfect with it!
There is one last blue chicken fabric.
Also from France, it has much more of a country look.
A montage of country items,
from a vintage stove to wooden cutting boards,
rest on a blue gingham background.
Breakfast items of coffee, eggs, and croissants
are intermixed with words.
Shades of greys and other neutral tones are
punctuated by pink, magenta, and green.
These, and all of our chicken and rooster fabrics
can be seen in the
Rooster Chicken Fabric category.
