It is snowing! Yep- the day started out cloudy, around 38 degrees F., and the temperature has dropped to just above 32 degrees F. The sound of lawn mowers and the smell of cut grass that filled the air on Sunday are distant memories.
Spring snow is not unusual here in Maine…
Stopping, starting, spring comes slowly to Maine.
The beginning of a new Meadow Walk has just been added to the blog,
with the rest of it to be added tomorrow.

Spring Comes to Maine
Plans for the Week
We are working with a new mill to bring woven upholstery fabrics to you. These will not be carried in house, but will be available as cut yardage, and shipped from the mill. This allows us to offer a wide range of fabrics that we can not inventory, allowing us to concentrate on novelty fabrics.
Yesterday one group of slubby basket weave fabrics were listed.
They are available in the
Solid Fabric category- in Search by Texture- Slubby Basket Weave.
The next group of fabrics will be solids, with a slight pile, rather like a velveteen.
What we like about these fabrics is both the colors, and durability.
We will be alternating adding these solids with the ocean fabrics that we were trying to get on last week.
