It is nearly July- it is hard to believe… strawberries have ripened early, lemon daylilies are in bloom!
This year it seemed that spring melted into summer very quickly. Roses began blooming before the spring bulbs had finished, and the lemon lilies, a traditional plant of old farms in Maine also bloomed early.
The blueberry barrens have
blueberries ripening-
August is when the blues normally come in,
but, this year, they will be early.
