A late winter snow is falling gently, adding to the already deep snow. As we used to say, "Mother Nature is shaking her down comforter." Airing on the porch railing of a Swiss chalet is a quilt. Children have been playing in the deep snow- sleds are standing in the snow, a pair of mittens has been forgotten. A snowman wearing a cap waits for their return. And a polar bear mother is cuddled up with her young twins in the lee of a stand of trees, as the snow continues to fall.

Colors used are tan, beige, charcoal, red, and white on a taupe background. There has been over-printing, so other tones are seen.

This fabric is 56 1/2" wide. The polar bear vignette is about 18" ( 45.72 cm. ) across; the cabin vignette is about 15" ( 38.10 cm. ) across. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has a matte, dry look and feel. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.
