Indienne red paisley fabric mosaic watercolor

An Indienne red paisley fabric. A paisley Indienne fabric that looks as if it were a mosaic done as a watercolor.

Stylized tree of life flowers swirl across the fabric. They are composed of small designs of flowers, leaves, and bits of confetti, which gives the mosaic effect.

Colors used are charcoal, dark olive green, gold, bright pink, salmon red, beige, and cream. All colors are tonal. The effect from a distance is of swirling beige forms with washed tones of pink, yellow, and olive with grey and charcoal on a tonal raspberry background. In some lights the background moves to a brick tone.

This fabric is 55 3/4" wide. The largest floral form is about 12" ( 30.48 cm. ) tall from the bottom of the round flower at is base to the tallest leaf, measuring along the fabric. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has a twill weave, and nice drape with a smooth hand. This is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.
