Palm tree fabric tropical watercolor whimsical linen- 60"

A palm tree fabric. A tropical fabric with palm trees done in a watercolor style. This is a light hearted tropical fabric.

This tropical fabric has two panels with two different trees. Each panel has the same tree on it, running up the roll. The right hand one is a very, very straight palm with loaded with dates. The left hand tree has a curvy trunk and leafy branches with racemes of flowers. Edging the panels are stripes enclosing a pattern of thumb prints with a small motif of leaves with curlicue drawn over them.

The colors used are cocoa brown, light tan brown, greens from deep yellow green through light apple green, teal blue, blue green, sky, aqua, deep fuchsia, deep pink, deep petal, muted school bus orange, and cream on off white. Colors are tonal, and there has been over-printing, as if done in watercolors. The effect is of trees with light brown trunks painted with a darker zig zag of brown, blue and lime green leaves and deep and light fuchsia, with small touches of muted orange. Stripes of blue green and light tan brown enclose a thumbnail print of yellow green. The tile pattern alternates between light yellow green and teal blue, with touches of pink.

This fabric is 57" wide. The panels, measuring to the centers of the line of thumb prints, are about 27" ( 68.58 cm ) wide; the straight palm is about 29 1/2" ( 74.93 cm. ) tall. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has been woven with a slub. It has a matt, dry feel. It does have drape. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, bedding, etc.

This is for a 60" cut, which gives a row of the trees, with partial trees on either end. The row of trees will be centered in the cut.
