There has been over-printing and blending of the colors, so many colors are seen. The effect from a distance is of orange red starfish, with shells of brown, grey, charcoal, greyed pink, muted salmon, red, and orange, with off-white. The shadow print is shades of tan and grey, and the background has a very pale greyed pink sponged cast to it.

This fabric is 56" wide. The starfish are about 7 3/4" ( 19.685 cm. ) across the widest part. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has a corded weave. It has a matt, dry look and feel. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.
