Embroidered crewel work fabric deer bird
An embroidered crewel work fabric with animals. Yes, this is true crewel work- the design is chain stitched onto the background.
A bird flies away as deer run by. Below them two cat like animals play as a lone deer watches. Between them, growing from two rows of cream stitching that are the ground, are stylized flowers.
This crewel fabric has animals done in camel, light coffee, and a medium brown, with details of black, cream, and a dusty rose. There are two shades of sage, a lighter dusty blue, and a dusty deeper blue, with dusty lilac used as well. The background is off-white.
This fabric is 52" wide. The two running deer, measured together are about 14" ( 35.56 cm. ) wide; the left cat, measured along the fabric, not down the length of the cat, is about 8 3/4" (22.225 cm. ) wide; and the lone deer, is about 8" (20.32 cm. ) tall. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, and totes.
This is for a 44" cut, which gives one each of all of the different pattern elements. It will be cut with the bird at the top, and the lone deer at the bottom. There will be about 1" above the bird at the top, and 1" below the deer at the bottom.
